Here’s what we currently know of the AFK Journey x Digimon Adventure Crossover

In celebration of the 27th annual Digimon Day on August 1, 2026, Farlight Games officially announced that the 1999 anime Digimon Adventure has been selected as the next IP to cross over into the world of Esperia in AFK Journey.

The collaboration marks the fourth major crossover event for the fantasy RPG, following previous partnerships with Fairy Tail, Delicious in Dungeon, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

Beginning on August 18, 2026, players will be able to experience the event, with new gameplay content, rich rewards, and limited-time cosmetics.

This crossover brings two of Digimon Adventure’s protagonists and their respective partner Digimon into the world of Esperia: Taichi Yagami alongside Agumon, and Yamato Ishida together with his partner Gabumon.
